John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos will both be available to face Celtic when Rangers travel to Parkhead for the first derby of the season on September 3rd.
Both were dismissed during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Hibs and there is only one Premiership match left before that mouthwatering clash, coming against Ross County next weekend. The rules regarding suspensions from the Scottish FA website state that serious foul play and violent conduct situations bring about a two-game ban. Neither outcome can be confirmed until the referees report is received by the SFA, but the incidents regarding both players in this match come under either category respectively.
Lundstram's was for a foul on Martin Boyle as Hibs looked to break up the park, with boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst believing it was a harsh decision. Club captain James Tavernier meanwhile labelled Morelos' stupid after he caught Marijan Cabraja on the face with a flailing arm, less than 15 minutes after coming on as a sub.

These suspensions stand no matter the competition, with SFA rules under Section F stating: "A Recognised First Team Player sent off in a First Team match (other than in a Specified Cup Competition) will be suspended for his club’s next two First Team matches, irrespective of the competition and including Specified Cup Competitions, as applicable."
As things stand, both players will miss Rangers' next two matches against Ross County at Ibrox and Queen of the South in the Premier Sports Cup.
Lundstram's decision will be appealed as the Light Blues slowly creep towards this season's first derby encounter in Glasgow.
