Rangers 'looking at' Vladan Kovacevic as potential Allan McGregor transfer replacement

Rangers are eyeing Vladan Kovacevic as a potential transfer option, with Allan McGergor looking set to hang up his gloves, according to reports.

The 24-year-old currently plays in Poland with Rakow and is under contract for two more seasons.

But the Herald and Times report his club are keen to cash in on their star man while they can.

The stopper has kept 16 clean sheets across the domestic league and Europa Conference League this campaign.

He's featured against Celtic over the years in European qualification matches.

McGregor, 40 was brought on for what looked like an emotional swansong in the final moments of Rangers' Scottish Cup win over Hearts at Hampden.

Rangers have already been linked with a host of names with McGregor's future beyond the summer uncertain.

Schalke's Martin Fraisl, West Brom's Sam Johnstone and Dundee United's Benjamn Siegrist have all been mentioned previously.
