Rangers legendary goalkeeper Andy Goram battling cancer

Rangers have confirmed legendary goalkeeper Andy Goram has been diagnosed with cancer.

The former Ibrox keeper, nicknamed 'The Goalie' during his playing days, was a hero of the club's Nine In A Row years during his time in Govan between 1991 and 1998.

A Rangers statement reads: "Rangers can confirm our legendary goalkeeper, Andy Goram, is undergoing treatment for cancer in a local hospital. Club officials are in regular contact with Andy and his family.
