Rangers have been keeping tabs on Nottingham Forest stopper Jonathan Panzo, according to a report.
Michael Beale is in the market to strengthen key areas of his squad as he looks to put his own stamp on things ahead of a big summer transfer window. Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin kicked the recruitment into gear in January with another big number of decisions to come. One area the Ibrox gaffer wants to add to is at the back with the Daily Record reporting that the Light Blues have scouted the central defender.
The England Under-21 international moved to the English Premier League outfit from Dijon and has since been loaned out to Coventry in the English Championship and has been a key player for the Sky Blues - who are in the mixer for the promotion play-offs. They trail sixth-placed Millwall by just three points with eight games to play.

Panzo has worked with Beale previously but the same report states it remains to be seen whether Forest would be willing to cash in on the stopper or look to put him out on another loan deal, with the added incentive of European football at the Ibrox side next term.
Rangers are believed to be monitoring his situation closely with other defensive targets also on the radar with scouts said to be out in force looking all across Europe as well as south of the border.
Closer to home, some big decisions are still to be decided on the contract front.
Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos are amongst the big names to be out of contract in the summer. Beale has publicly stated his desire to retain the former Liverpool man and team-mate Ryan Jack - although the Colombian hitman was told his boss needs to see more as he responded to speculation over a pre-contract with Sevilla. A move the hitman has denied.
