KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Tuesday, the Rangers exhaled. Again.
It appears for the second time in four games, they’ve avoided a major pitching injury. Jacob deGrom, who left Monday’s start after four no-hit innings with wrist soreness, said he expects to make his next start, as planned. He is scheduled to pitch Sunday against Oakland.
“I actually feel better today than I did yesterday,” deGrom said Tuesday afternoon. “So that’s a good sign. We did some stuff in the training room and everything feels good. So I fully anticipate making my next start.”
