Rangers icon Andy Goram vows to 'fight like never before' after terminal cancer diagnosis

Rangers legend Andy Goram has revealed he has been given six months to live after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. The Ibrox icon vowed to "fight like I've never fought before".

The former goalkeeper said he had turned down chemotherapy after being warned the treatment would only give him an extra 12 weeks. The 58-year-old - nicknamed The Goalie – first started to feel ill around seven weeks ago.

He said he was struggling to eat and drink and thought he was suffering from heartburn. He initially ignored the symptoms after failing to get a face-to-face appointment with his GP, the Daily Record reports.
