Borussia Dortmund general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke has been forced to deny boss Marco Rose could be given the bullet after Rangers ' monumental win.
The Europa League favourites were turned over 4-2 in their own backyard by Gio van Bronckhorst 's side to leave them staring down the barrel of elimination.
Angry fans booed and whistled the Dortmund players at the final whistle, having already seen theirs side battered at home by Bayer Leverkusen this season.
Rose come in for fierce criticism in the German press for the result, and it was even reported a midnight summer had taken place to discuss his future.
However, Watzke has furiously denied the claim as the club prepare to play Borussia Monchengladbach away on Sunday in the Bundesliga.
He said: "It's all total bulls**t. There was no meeting."
After the game, Rose admitted they were up against it next week in Glasgow.
He said: "Of course this situation is difficult. We lost with a difference of two goals. There are no away goals anymore so that might be a little help.
"But to score two goals at Ibrox with 50,000 fans there is quite a task."
