John Barnes has tipped the title race to go down to the wire this season but reckons Celtic will make it back-to-back Premiership triumphs.
Ange Postecoglou lifted the league crown and Premier Sport Cup in a debut season to remember and he is bidding to go for a second title success while juggling further domestic and European matters. The Hoops' capture of the league crown from Rangers secured automatic Champions League entry with the Scottish champions playing in a section alongside Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Rangers are also in Europe's premier competition but are yet to get off the mark in the points or goals column with three defeats so far to Ajax, Napoli and Liverpool. On the domestic front just two points separate the Old Firm duo after nine games, with Celtic claiming a 95th minute winner last time out against St Johnstone.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men have got over a sticky patch to win three games on the trot in the league - despite losing out in the Champions League.
Speaking about the title race, Barnes told BonusCodeBets : "Celtic are probably favourites. But from one season to the next, those teams are the best two teams in Scotland. Those two once again will go to the wire but I think Celtic will."
Rangers and Liverpool go head to head in part two of their Battle of Britain showdown at Ibrox tonight after last week's 2-0 loss at Anfield.
Veteran No1 Allan McGregor was the start of the show for Van Bronckhorst's men and Barnes has given the Dutchman and his troops no chance of winning.
He added: "I think Liverpool will win, but Rangers aren't strong enough. It's hard when the Scottish teams compete against the English teams because the quality of players differ. I expect Liverpool to win the game."
