Rangers FC named among those that may have 'illegally fixed prices of merchandise'

Rangers FC, JD Sports and Elite Sports have been found provisionally by the UK competition watchdog to have conspired to illegally fix prices of Rangers merchandise.

The UK Watchdog The Competitions and Market Authority said those allegedly involved could to face fines if they are found to have broken the law.

The CMA alleges that Elite Sports and JD Sports fixed the retail prices of a number of Rangers-branded replica kits as well as other clothing products from September 2018 until at least July 2019 and is believed the club was also involved in the alleged collusion. .
