Police were called to a bridge in Glasgow city centre after fireworks were allegedly set off by Rangers fans outside a hotel.
The pyrotechnics were let off in the vicinity of the Millennium Bridge, close to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, at around 2.15am on Tuesday. Officers were called to the scene and seized a box of fireworks that hadn't been set off.
A number of locals complained of hearing loud bangs from the fireworks in Govan and Scotstoun. It's believed Rangers supporters were behind the incident in a bid to disturb PSV Eindhoven players staying at the hotel ahead of their match against the Ibrox side on Tuesday evening.

The 2am fireworks display has become common practice among football supporters, with Celtic players staying at the Dakota Hotel on the outskirts of the city, and the Slavia Prague and Malmo teams, who were both staying at the Crowne Plaza, being given the rude awakening.
Police confirmed the incident to Glasgow Live on Tuesday afternoon. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers were called to a report of fireworks being set off in the vicinity of the Millennium Bridge, Glasgow around 2.15am on Tuesday, August 16. Officers attended and a box of fireworks that had not been set off were seized and the area made safe.
"Nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident."
