Rangers fans descended on Glasgow's Ibrox Stadium to pay tribute to Andy Goram who has died from cancer.
Glasgow Live reported that the 58-year-old passed away on Saturday following a short battle with oesophageal cancer. Affectionately known as, 'The Goalie', Goram's death sparked and outpouring of grief among Rangers fans, reports the Daily Record.
Mourners gathered at Copland Road gates to grieve together, later on Saturday afternoon. Tearful supporters laid scarves, flowers and jerseys as a mark of respect for the former keeper. Images from the scene show one pair of goalkeeper gloves pinned to the gates with the message, 'RIP #1'.

Next to the gloves hangs a yellow jersey with 'Rest Easy Goalie' written across the front. 'In loving memory of 'The Goalie' was written in a card alongside flowers placed down at the gates.
A Celtic scarf could also be seen as supporters from across the city came together to pay tribute. Rangers bosses hailed Goram as an 'Old Firm specialist' who 'was often the difference between the two sides with some astonishing saves'.
Bereft Gers fans took to social media to pay tribute to the tragic keeper dubbed 'simply the best'.
Steven Cairney said: "The best goalkeeper I've seen in my lifetime. Heartbroken for his family. Rest In Peace."
Ryan Kemp, @kempomado1, said: "My boy asked me 'How good was Andy Goram?' My answer, 'When a group of supporters name him "The Goalie" there isn't a higher compliment and I don't need to add any more' Simply the best"

The former Ibrox keeper was a hero of the club's Nine In A Row years during his time in Govan between 1991 and 1998. He left Rangers in 1998 but continued to play top flight football for five more years.
He also had spells at Notts County, Sheffield United, Motherwell for three seasons, Manchester United, where he helped the Red Devils claim the Premier League in 2001. Goram played in goal for Hamilton Accies, Coventry, another spell at Oldham, Queen of the South and then lastly Elgin City.
Goram won 43 caps for Scotland and was the first-choice goalkeeper for both Euro 92 and Euro 96 in Sweden and England respectively for the Scots. Goram - nicknamed The Goalie - had spent the last few weeks in St Andrew’s after becoming too ill to be treated at home.
The ex Scotland star had been diagnosed with Stage Four cancer after thinking he was suffering from indigestion. He told the Record doctors had given him just six months to live in April.
However his condition worsened quicker than specialists predicted and he passed away surrounded by family and friends shortly before midday. Goram organised his own funeral days before he died.
