Rangers supporters have been accused of causing up to £10,000 worth of damage at the Marakana Stadium with claims they destroyed over 500 seats.
The Light Blues were backed by around 1500 travelling legions for the Europa League last-16 second leg tie against Red Star Belgrade.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men went down 2-1 on the night but progressed to the quarter finals thanks to a 4-2 aggregate win.
There were reports of Rangers fans suffering ambush attacks on the eve of the game and trouble at the stadium itself in a bad-tempered trip.
Now multiple Serbia media outlets have reported that a total of 503 seats were either ripped up or destroyed in the cage away section of the iconic stadium, which will cost Red Star thousands of pounds to repair.
Rangers fans had previously complained about the state of their section after Partizan Belgrade fans had caused extensive damage during the Eternal Derby a couple of weeks ago.
But reports insist fresh seats were destroyed last Thursday night, although it's not known yet whether the Serbian champions will ask Rangers to pay for the damage.
Meanwhile, Red Star boss Dejan Stankovic admits he was frustrated Rangers drew Braga in the quarter-finals draw...because they got the better of the Portuguese side already this season after a 1-1 draw in Portugal and a 2-1 win in Serbia.
He said: "I've had time to watch the match again and it's really a pity we didn't get through because we missed so many chances. But at this stage, if you make mistakes, you get punished.
"I saw Rangers were drawn against Braga and that makes it worse because we would have known what to expect against them, especially as we won and drew against them already this season.
"But now we will concentrate on the league and retaining our title."
