Dons fans believe it was the right move to remove their manager while some Rangers fans are convinced they have the measure of Borussia Dortmund.
William Masson, Aboyne, said: "It's a shame things ended badly for Glass, he and the club tried a different approach but it hasn’t worked. We all want our teams to play flowing football but that has to be balanced with pragmatism and a realisation that sometimes you have to win ugly."
Gary Stevenson, Newtonhill, said: "It's crunch time for Aberdeen. A new stadium is nearly finished for a dwindling support. Interest in Scottish football is at an all-time low. Aberdeen must endeavour to return to the days of a full Pittodrie with a team challenging for major honours.
"The alternative is half empty stadiums and a yearly battle for the top six. A good exiting Aberdeen team is vital as a selling point for the Scottish Premiership so get rid of the dead wood and build the team around Lewis Ferguson and Calvin Ramsey, bring in decent players and employ a manager who has ambitions of winning and not just surviving."

I don't see any Rangers fans bragging about 56 or winning the league by a 20-odd point margin, they can dream on."
