Rangers Europa League squad for Borussia Dortmund clashes revealed as Aaron Ramsey primed but key duo miss out

Rangers' squad for the Europa League knockout stage has been revealed as Gio van Bronckhorst makes room for his new signings to face Borussia Dortmund.

The Ibrox side had a busy window with four new faces arriving to strengthen their title push.

However UEFA rules mean that only three new players can be registered for the knockout stages - so it's right-back Mateusz Zukowski that misses out.

Aaron Ramsey, Amad Diallo and James Sands all make the group that will take on Dortmund home and away this month.

But there is no room for Cedric Itten either with Van Bronckhorst deciding not to hand the Swiss hitman one of the new player slots.

Itten wasn't registered at the beginning of the season as he was out on loan at Greuther Furth.

Filip Helander has vacated his spot as he recovers from injury while Ianis Hagi has also been left out as he is unexpected to play again this season.

Rangers face Dortmund in Germany in a fortnight (17 Feb) before the return leg at Ibrox one week later.
