Rangers could be without nine first-team players for Tuesday's Champions League clash at Anfield as the injuries continue to mount within Giovanni van Bronckhorst's squad.
The Gers make the trip south of the border in need of a result having lost both of their opening matches in Group A so far, with Ajax and Napoli both handing hidings out to the 55-time Scottish champions.
While Liverpool themselves are enduring their own struggles at the moment, they will be boosted by the news that their opponents tomorrow night could be forced to field a weakened side.

As it stands, Rangers boss Van Bronckhorst is set to be without his four long-term absentees as John Souttar, Filip Helander, Ianis Hagi and Nnamdi Ofoborh are all continuing their recoveries. Helander's absence could lead to former Reds defender Ben Davies being handed his first-ever Anfield start, despite spending 18 months with Liverpool before eventually leaving the club during the summer.
Meanwhile, American defender James Sands will be unavailable for the heavyweight fixture after receiving a red card during the 3-0 loss to Napoli last time out.
Rangers' ill-timed problems do not stop there as they could be further hampered by the absence of an additional four players as goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin and outfield trio Tom Lawrence, Alex Lowry and Kemar Roofe remain touch-and-go in terms of their involvement.
Lawrence, who enjoyed a fruitful five-year spell in the English game with Derby County before leaving this summer, was expected to make his return from injury during Saturday's 4-0 thrashing of Hearts in the Scottish Premiership, but the forward continued to be sidelined, which has cast doubt on his involvement at Anfield.
Roofe, who finished as Rangers' third-highest goalscorer in all competitions last season, is set to have a decision on his availability made closer to kick-off as he looks to return to the field for the first time since May. Van Bronckhorst teased a potential return of the former Leeds United man prior to Saturday's fixture as he revealed Roofe was back training with his team-mates. But after failing to make the squad for the trip to Tynecastle, his involvement on Merseyside appears to be in doubt.
More clarity is expected on Rangers' potential absentees ahead of their first competitive meeting against Liverpool, with Van Bronckhorst facing the world media at Anfield on Tuesday afternoon.
