Rangers co-owner Jed York has pled no contest following his arrest in Ohio.

The San Francisco 49ers owner was initially arrested over the past weekend on suspicion of engaging in prostitution. However that was amended to a charge of disorderly conduct.

The 46-year-old was sentenced to one day in jail for each count and that will be served concurrently.

He has also been forced to pay fines of $1150. His bond was also set at $5000.

A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt but the defendant does accept the punishment for the alleged crimes.

A police report requested by American news outlet WKBN simply read: “On August 23, 2026, the East Palestine Police Department assisted the MVHTTF on the arrest of John York.”

The cops' report lists the time and location of the arrest as 9.35am at Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community.
