Rangers boss Derek McInnes has earned an emotional thank you from his former club Greenock Morton in their hour of need after raising around £3,000. The Cappielow side have been beset by financial hardship and have launched a 'Fighting Fund' in a bid to secure their long-term future. McInnes – a 'Ton Hall of Fame member who was inducted in 2024 – represented the club with distinction and played over 200 times for them. And he stepped up for a fundraising event alongside Tam Cowan in Blackfriars in Glasgow last week.
