Rangers B, Celtic B, Queen's Park and Partick Thistle discover SPFL Trust Trophy round three fate

Celtic and Rangers B have both learned their SPFL Trust Trophy Round three fate alongside Queen's Park and Partick Thistle.

The Old Firm duo - competing in the Lowland League for the second successive season - will come up against Dunfermline and Hamilton Accies. The young Hoops have recorded wins over League Two outfit Albion Rovers and Livingston Under-21's to reach this stage. The Light Blues dumped out Spartans in Round One before smashing Dumbarton for seven in the last round.

Owen Coyle's Spiders have taken like a duck to water in their Scottish Championship campaign and after wins in the last three games, confidence couldn't be any higher. They will travel to face Cliftonville for a spot in the next stage.

Ian McCall and his Partick Thistle side boast a similar league record to their Glasgow rivals with 10 points from the opening five games. They defeated Raith Rovers 2-1 at the weekend and they now know that Falkirk stands between them and a spot in the fourth round of the competition.

Ties are due to take place on the weekend of September 24/25.
