As part of their pre-season preparations, Rangers will head to Germany for a friendly against TSG Hoffenheim.
Michael Beale is looking to test his revamped squad as the build them up for the crucial Champions League third qualifying round, with the first leg taking place on August 8. With that in mind, the Light Blues have picked opposition with pedigree in the shape of the Bundesliga cracks.
The Gers will run out at the PreZero Arena on Saturday, July 29 (kick-off 3.30pm). Hoffenheim finished 12th in the German top flight, which saw Borussia Dortmund surrender the title to relentless winners Bayern Munich on the final day. The hope is that Malik Tillman will have made a permanent switch from the Bavarian giants before Rangers head back to his adopted homeland. As for who they might be facing, Danish stars Thomas Delaney and Kasper Dolberg are among Hoffenheim’s ranks, along with former Man City and RB Leipzig full back Angelino.
