Range of Ukrainian language books now available at South Lanarkshire libraries

There are now collections of Ukrainian language children’s books in South Lanarkshire libraries.

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture (SLLC) announced yesterday (October 26) that they are in East Kilbride Central Library and Hamilton Town House Library.

There are over 50 books which have been added to the libraries’ stock with more expected to be delivered.

A spokesman for SLLC told us : “We have around 70 titles of Ukrainian books added to stock and are expecting delivery of another 65 children’s titles.

“And at the start of this week 11 Ukrainian families joined East Kilbride Central Library and were delighted that books in their language were available.”
