Randal Kolo Muani makes Premier League dream admission amid Manchester United interest

Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani admits he's dreamt about playing in the Premier League as he outlines what he's looking for in his next club.

The Eintracht Frankfurt striker is among Erik ten Hag’s list of potential alternative summer targets should a pursuit for top target Harry Kane not come to fruition. Muani has 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 matches this season and could move to a European big-hitter in the coming months.

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the France international, who scored in the World Cup semi-finals against Morocco and featured in the final. Muani says it is encouraging to hear of such speculation while also commenting on a move to England amid United’s interest.

Speaking on Canal Football Club, the 24-year-old said: "It’s flattering that PSG are interested in you, like all the other big clubs. It’s not just because you come from the Parisian region and grow up there that you should automatically play for PSG.”

Muani added: "Honestly, who doesn’t dream of playing in the Premier League? It’s one of the best leagues that exists. You dream about it. These are childhood dreams. But I’m not searching for the perfect club or the best club in the world. I’m really looking for the club that will give me the chance to be able to express myself, to earn game time and most importantly allow me to grow."

Muani featured in the final of the DFB Pokal - Germany's most revered cup competition - on Saturday as Frankfurt lost 2-0 to RB Leipzig.

The likes of Napoli star Victor Osimhen, Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos and Atalanta youngster Rasmus Hojlund are all also of interest to Ten Hag. United are currently exploring alternative options to Kane after receiving pushback from Tottenham over a move. The Spurs star has more recently been linked with a potential switch to Real Madrid upon the news that club icon Karim Benzema is set to leave this summer.

United have meanwhile held talks with Hojlund and have agreed personal terms with Chelsea playmaker Mason Mount in their hunt for a new midfielder.
