Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is set to take on the most significant role of his career in director Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious project, 'Ramayana'.

The actor is set to play the role of Lord Ram opposite actor Yash who is reportedly playing Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita. The film which will also star Sunny Deol as Hanuman, is poised to be one of the biggest and most expensive cinematic projects in Indian cinema.
