Ramsdens has completed its takeover of the former H. Samuel shop in Kilmarnock town centre.
The financial services retailer's new store opened last Friday on King Street.
The new unit, complete with a bigger footprint, is across the road from the shop the retailer used to occupy in the town centre
Ayrshire Live told you in May that planning documents showed Ramsdens had lodged two separate applications to make changes to the prime high street unit.
The first one is to replace the existing shop front and the other to erect an illuminated sign within the shop.
East Ayrshire Council planners gave the green light for both applications paving the way for the retailer to open at the former jewellery shop.
H. Samuel closed at the height of the global pandemic in May 2020 with jewellery bosses confirming that the shop would not reopen after being forced to close due to the Covid crisis.
