Puka Nacua burst onto the scene in his NFL debut last week, catching 10 passes for 119 yards in his first game with the Rams. It was statistically the best debut ever by a Rams receiver, quickly making an impact in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately, he got a little banged up and is dealing with an oblique injury. After missing practice Thursday, he’ll be limited on Friday, Sean McVay said. While Nacua will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the 49ers, McVay expects him to play.
Buy Rams TicketsThat’s great news because the Rams leaned heavily on Nacua in Week 1; Matthew Stafford targeted him 15 times, the most ever by a rookie receiver in his debut. Assuming Nacua plays, it’ll once again be him, Tutu Atwell and Van Jefferson leading the receiver group.
