Rams vs. Vikings injury report: Updates on Reeder, Whittington, Fiske and Nacua

The short week has not been kind to the Los Angeles Rams. They were a bit banged up coming out of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders and it’ll cost them a few players on Thursday night when they host the Minnesota Vikings.

The Rams and Vikings released their final injury reports of the week after practice on Wednesday and Los Angeles has already ruled three players out: Troy Reeder, Jordan Whittington and Joe Noteboom.

Braden Fiske and Neville Gallimore are both questionable, as is Puka Nacua, who remains on injured reserve as of now. There have been no indications that Nacua will play on Thursday night.

For the Vikings, Blake Cashman has been ruled out already, while Akayleb Evans, T.J. Hockenson and Dalton Risner are all questionable. Everyone else is good to go for Minnesota.

Vikings injury report

Cooper Kupp injury update

Kupp was a full participant in practice all week and is on track to play Thursday – his first game since injuring his ankle in Week 2.

Jordan Whittington injury update

Whittington was limited to nine snaps in Sunday’s win and he’s still dealing with the shoulder injury that he suffered in Week 5. He was a non-participant in practice on Wednesday so he won’t play this week.

Joe Noteboom injury update

Sean McVay said there was a chance Noteboom could be activated off IR this week but he’s been ruled out despite being a full participant on Wednesday.

Braden Fiske injury update

Fiske came out of Sunday’s game with some back soreness, which caused him to miss practice on Monday and Tuesday. He was upgraded to limited Wednesday, giving him a shot to play against the Vikings.

Troy Reeder injury update

Reeder didn’t practice all week and has been ruled out. He’s their defensive signal caller so the Rams will need to find someone else to wear the green dot; Quentin Lake is a good candidate as someone who plays every snap.

Puka Nacua injury update

Nacua made his long-awaited return to practice on Tuesday and was limited for the second straight day Wednesday. He hasn’t been activated and is unlikely to play, but the Rams are listing him as questionable.
