The days of the 49ers owning the Rams appear to be over. After losing nine straight regular-season games to San Francisco, the Rams have now ripped off a three-game winning streak against their rivals.
In doing so, they all but ended the 49ers’ season, sending them home with a 6-8 record after beating them, 12-6, on Thursday night.
Following the road victory, the Rams sent a clear shot at the 49ers on social media. They posted a photo of the 49ers’ boombox in the trash with four broom emoji and a massive ‘W’ in the middle.
Did somebody say sweep?

For the first time since 2018, the Rams posted a perfect 2-0 record against the 49ers, essentially knocking them out of contention for a playoff spot. It was apparently so bad that linebacker D’Vondre Campbell quit on his team and didn’t want to play anymore.
It wasn’t the prettiest game, but the final score is what matters and the Rams were on the right side of that one.
