Kevin Dotson is among the many Los Angeles Rams players who are banged up heading into Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals, suffering an ankle injury in the season opener. Sean McVay called him day-to-day to start the week but on Wednesday, he was held out of practice.
The Rams are being cautious with their starting right guard and McVay is proceeding with the expectation that Dotson will play on Sunday against the Cardinals.
That’s great news for the Rams, who are getting dangerously thin along the offensive line with Joe Noteboom, Rob Havenstein and Steve Avila all injured. Alaric Jackson is also suspended for one more game.
As of now, it’s looking like Jonah Jackson and Kevin Dotson could be the only two starting linemen who play on Sunday afternoon.
Rams RT Rob Havenstein (ankle) will be limited today in practice. RG Kevin Dotson (ankle) will be held out, but Sean McVay says Rams expect him to play on Sunday vs Cardinals
