Manchester United matched another remarkable record on Thursday as they thrashed Real Betis 4-1 in the Europa League last-16 first leg.
Erik ten Hag's side bounced back from their 7-0 drubbing at Liverpool by beating the La Liga side in resounding fashion at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford, Antony, Bruno Fernandes and Wout Weghorst.
United have one foot in the quarter-finals, where they could meet Premier League rivals Arsenal, although Mikel Arteta's men will need to improve after a 2-2 first-leg draw against Sporting Lisbon. The Red Devils travel to Spain for the second leg next week.
However, Ten Hag, as always, will be thinking about the next game as they face Southampton on Sunday - and United have the chance to break a feat that has stood unmatched for 23 years.
Thursday's win over Betis meant that United have scored two or more goals in 15 consecutive home matches for the first time since March-October 2000 under Sir Alex Ferguson. The legendary Scot's dominant Red Devils squad cruised to the Premier League title in the 1999/2000 campaign and defended their title the following season.
It was only the fourth time in United's history that they have done that and Ten Hag's men seem to be breaking and setting new records every single week at the moment. They started that 15-game Old Trafford streak by beating Aston Villa 4-2 on November 10 - their final home match before the World Cup break.
The Red Devils returned to action after the Qatar tournament by beating Burnley 2-0 and Nottingham Forest 3-0 in a flurry of impressive home victories. Four successive wins at Old Trafford in the New Year followed as they earned wins over Bournemouth (3-0), Everton (3-1), Charlton (3-0) and Manchester City (2-1).
After a run of three away matches, United returned home for the visit of Reading in the FA Cup - a game they won 3-1. The Red Devils then beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg, before a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on February 4.
In the 15-game run, United drew just once. That came at home against Leeds, when they fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Old Trafford. Wins against Leicester, Barcelona, West Ham and Betis followed to complete a mammoth run that has included many impressive victories.

After the win over Betis, Ten Hag told BT Sport: "It was a good attitude, from the start. Front foot, we were good on the ball, finding spare men in the midfield. We made good switches, we made good runs in behind and created a lot of chances so yes, we are happy today."
"He [Weghorst] was so close many times already and he has created so many chances and goals for others by making space," Ten Hag added.
"Now he has his goal [at Old Trafford] and he deserved it. For Bruno, I think he was brilliant today. He led the team from the first minute by his game. In possession, he made the rhythm of the game and he scored a goal so I am happy."
