FUYANG (Hangzhou): Standing between the two Chinese shooters on the far left side of the lane, India’s Ramita Jindal, 19, demonstrated an innate sense of calmness and clarity in her thoughts.

Holding her air rifle still and frayed nerves under check, the teenage shooter from Haryana’s Ladwa village looked determined to win India’s first individual medal at the ongoing edition of the Asian Games.
