Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said the Rajya Sabha elections in the state have set the tone for the 2027 Assembly polls, claiming the "80 versus 20" political battle was back, with 80 per cent of the electorate with the NDA and 20 per cent with the opposition's PDA.
"The Rajya Sabha election (nominations) in Uttar Pradesh showed what the result of the Assembly election is going to be. The 80 versus 20 fight has returned. Eighty per cent is with the NDA and 20 per cent with the PDA, and what is going to happen to the PDA will again be before you," Adityanath said while addressing the "Seva Jyoti Yatra-Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha" in the state capital.
