MOHALI/BATHINDA: Targeting the Congress-led regime in Punjab, defence minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said it lacks discipline. Punjab chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi is ‘senapati’ without a ‘sainik’, he said while addressing a public rally in Lalru in favour of BJP candidate Sanjeev Khanna.
Accusing the ruling party in the state of deliberately not implementing Ayushman Bharat scheme, he said every Punjab resident will be given free treatment facility by implementing Ayushman Bharat scheme within three months of the BJP government coming to power in the state. On the security breach issue, he said the state government, which cannot provide security to the country’s Prime Minister, has no right to stay in power. He even questioned the Congress party’s failure to solve its internal strife in Punjab, saying how can it then solve the problems of Punjab? Congress MPs are alleging scam in ticket distribution in Punjab, he said.
