Rajasthan: Three killed, two injured in Alwar accidents

JAIPUR: Three persons were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents at Bansur and Bhiwadi areas of Alwar on Friday.

Two youths were killed and a woman got injured in a head-on collision between two bikes near Gadi Ajabpura village under Bansur police station area of Alwar late on Thursday.

According to police, the incident took place late on Thursday evening in which two persons identified as Bhim Singh Gurjar and Ramesh Gurjar were killed. However, wife of Bhim, Singh Gurjar, got injured in the accident. The accident took place when Bhim Singh was going to Narayanpur area. Ramesh was returning from Narayanpur situated hospital as he had gone to see a doctor for his wife," the police said.

Police said, all injured were rushed to the hospitals in Jaipur. "Both succumbed to injuries during early hours on Friday. The woman is undergoing treatment. No one was wearing helmet."

Meanwhile, in a separate accident, one person was killed and another injured after a bike was hit by a bus near Mansa Chowk area of Bhiwadi in Alwar.

"The deceased has been identified as Amit Kumar (24). Kumar, along with his friend Dhanram, was going to office in Bhiwadi. A bus carrying employees of a company was going towards Khuskhera industrial area when the bus collided with the bike," police said.
