KOTA: It was a moment of pride and dignity for the people of Harijan community in Chajwa village in Atru tehsil of Baran on Sunday when a 5-year-old boy of the community, on the occasion of his tonsure ceremony, rode on a mare in a procession carried out through the narrow lanes of the village amid a shower of flower petals and garlands.
Sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), Atru and DSP along with a few cops were present in the procession to avert any untoward incident.
