JAIPUR: A girl, who was allegedly raped twice by the school’s physical training instructor in 2018 and 2019 when she was in class 9 and class 10, repectively, finally broke her silence and lodged a case at the Panchori police station of Nagaur on Sunday after her younger sister was molested by the same man.
Police have registered the case and have initiated investigations into the matter.
According to police, the girl’s uncle lodged the FIR in which it was stated that the accused identified as Hari Ram (30) took the girl to a vacant classroom and raped her. According to the girl, the accused had raped her again when she was in class 10. “By then the girl was scared and disturbed and preferred to drop out of the school,” said Abdul Rauf, the station house officer of Panchori police station on Monday.
After dropping out of school, the girl was living with her parents. “On March 5 when the same teacher molested the sister of this girl, she broke down and narrated the plight to her parents. Finally, after consultation within the family, the girl with her uncle approached us and lodged a case,” the SHO added.
Police said the statement of the two girls would be recorded.
