KOTA: ACB, Kota (Rural) arrested a project manager of Rajasthan State Gas Limited (RSGL) posted in Kota and a tout on Saturday night from Srinathpuram area after he accepted a bribe of Rs 87,000 from contractor of a gas pipeline company. The accused manager, through the tout, had demanded Rs 1.37 lakh for sanction of the bills and releasing amount of Rs 42 lakh, however, the bribe amount was later settled at Rs 87,000 following negotiation.
"RSGL project manager, identified as Atul Shukla, a native of UP and posted in Kota, was arrested along with a tout identified as Vishnu Saini (29), a resident of Kota city, after he accepted a bribe of Rs 87,000 in Srinathpuram area late on Saturday night," ASP, ACB Kota (Rural)," Prerna Shekhawat said.
