JAIPUR: As Chief minister Ashok Gehlot presents the state Budget for 2022-23, the last full-year one of the current term, the expectations of people in the city and the state will revolve around policy decisions that will reduce the cost of living in various ways.
While income levels have stagnated or eroded due to the pandemic, the cost of basic daily use products and services have increased sharply, forcing them to cut back even on necessities.
