JAIPUR: The Budget session of the assembly began on Wednesday amidst protests by the Opposition seeking a CBI probe into the REET paper leak. The BJP members displayed placards and wore black bands asking for a CBI probe throughout the speech of governor Kalraj Mishra while three RLP members were in the well.
The RLP MLAs staged a walkout after a while. Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje was also present in the House, but former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot was conspicuous by his absence in the assembly. The House adjourned for the day after obituary reference followed by the governor's speech. However, there was no disruption and the governor completed his address in nearly an hour.
