JAIPUR: A 15-year-old girl was kidnapped, and gang raped allegedly by two persons in a village under Maroth police station area of Nagaur.
The accused had also made videos of the incident. The girl's family lodged an FIR late on Saturday evening and an officer of deputy SP rank has been asked to investigate the matter. One accused has been arrested by the police while another is still at large.
According to the police, the father of the girl has lodged a case of rape against two persons. "The father alleged that the girl was on her way to school on Wednesday when two persons on a bike offered her lift till the school. On the way they must have drugged the girl and later gang-raped her. The duo also made a video of the rape and are threatening to kill the family if they approached the police," said a senior police officer of Maroth police station area.
An officer equivalent to rank of deputy SP has been assigned to investigate. "The girl's father has given names of Shankar Lal (22) and Om Prakash (21) in his FIR. The statement of the girl has been recorded and her medical examination was also done. A team has been constituted to arrest the absconding accused in this case," said an officer.
