Rainbow Six Siege is now over at the Esports World Cup 2026. The event featured a massive $2 million prize pool and a direct ticket to Six Invitational 2027.

22 of the world’s best teams battled it out until mid-August, as the event kicked off with Play-ins before moving into Group Stage and single-elimination Playoff brackets.

Rainbow 6 Siege EWC 2026 schedule

The Rainbow 6 Siege event at EWC 2026 ran from Aug. 4 to 15, 2026, at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. It was an S-Tier tournament by the Esports Foundation and ESL FACEIT Group, featuring 22 teams from every major region.

Play-In Phase 1 began Aug. 4
Play-In Phase 2 followed immediately
The Group Stage started shortly after Play-Ins and ran through the middle of the window with double-elimination group brackets
Playoffs took place with stage single-elimination matches culminating in the Grand Final on Aug. 15

Team Secret automatically qualified as the defending EWC champion. Because of that, they had a legacy run to protect. FaZe Clan, Team Falcons, FURIA, and DarkZero arrived as top seeds from their regions.

Teams like FNATIC, Shopify Rebellion, Chiefs, LOS, and Al-Ula Club started in the Play-Ins. EDward Gaming, Weibo Gaming, TYLOO, and other APAC squads brought distinct styles capable of disrupting teams from other regions.

EWC 2026 R6 format and prize pool

EWC 2026 used a multi-stage, double-elimination format:
