NEW DELHI: The third and final one-day international (ODI) between New Zealand and Sri Lanka in Pallekele was abandoned after just 21 overs due to persistent rain.

Umpires officially called off the match at 7:45 PM local time (1415 GMT) as the weather showed no signs of improvement.
