Mild rain is likely to impact Mumbai's opening Ranji Trophy clash against Andhra, which will kick off on Tuesday at the Dr PVG Raju ACA Sports Complex in Vizianagaram. Due to the after-effects of Cyclone Mandous in nearby Tamil Nadu, light showers and cloudy sky are predicted for the first three days of the match.
Mumbai, meanwhile, have been boosted by the return of batting aces Sarfaraz Khan and Yashasvi Jaiswal from the India A tour of Bangladesh. Still out of contention for an India berth despite having scored close to 2,000 runs in the Ranji Trophy in the last two seasons, Sarfaraz will have to start all over again to prove his worth to the national selectors.
