Rain needed to reverse UK's drought 'not expected until October'

As London is gripped by its worst drought in decades, experts are warning that significant much-needed rainfall may not arrive in the UK until October.

Almost half of England is currently experiencing drought conditions, with East Anglia, Hertfordshire, London, Thames Valley, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Devon, Cornwall, the West Midlands, and Wessex all impacted.
