December arabica coffee (KCZ25) on Thursday closed down -7.85 (-2.04%), and November ICE robusta coffee (RMX25) closed up +26 (+0.57%).
Coffee prices settled mixed on Thursday, with robusta posting a 3-week high. Arabica coffee fell sharply on Thursday due to forecasts for rain in Brazil's coffee-growing regions later this week. Climatempo stated that some areas of Minas Gerais are expected to receive a "significant amount" of rain, up to 30 mm, which is expected to promote coffee flowering.
