Thunderstorm and flash flood warning as latest heatwave comes to an end

Heavy rain could hit parts of the UK today during the final day of the latest sweltering heatwave.

There are thunderstorm warning in place for Northern Ireland from 12pm until 9pm today with warning of flooding and damage. Up to 30mm of rain could fall in an hour and there is also chance of hail.
