Although the weather will be fairly mild today, it isn't expected to stick around for long; a massive snow storm may be on its way. We could be seeing 18 hours of snowfall, with the first flurry of snow hitting the Yorkshire next week, according to WXCharts.

A spokesperson for Met Office said: "Generally mild and cloudy with some further light rain over the hills. Some brief brighter spells are possible, most likely in the east. Maximum temperature 12 °C."
