Following the recent railway sabotage incident, Axel Persson, a CGT rail union leader, highlighted the perpetrators' intricate knowledge of the railway network's operations. Persson suggested that the individuals behind the sabotage must have possessed precise information about how the system functioned, indicating a potential case of industrial espionage.

Despite the concerning nature of the incident, Persson commended the vigilance and quick actions of railway workers, emphasizing that their efforts played a crucial role in thwarting the attack on the southeast line. He also mentioned that due to the upcoming Olympics, a contingency plan was in place, known as plan B, which involved utilizing classic train lines to ensure continued transportation services.

While acknowledging that this alternative plan might result in slower traffic flow, Persson reassured the public that travelers would still reach their destinations. He expressed confidence that although France was experiencing disruptions, the situation was being managed effectively, and the country remained operational.
