Following a 41-24 loss at the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 3, the Las Vegas Raiders enjoyed a much-needed bye week but they return to action Today (Sunday) with a 10 a.m. PT (1pm ET) kickoff in Miami against Dolphins.
The Raiders (2-7) used the bye week to overhaul their offensive staff and to try to find a spark in the season’s second half. Las Vegas elevated Scott Turner from passing game coordinator to interim offensive coordinator and made Joe Philbin its interim offensive line coach.
The Raiders also brought in Norv Turner, Scott’s father and former Raiders head coach, as a senior adviser.
Las Vegas looks to snap a five-game losing streak and to avenge a 20-13 loss in Week 11 of last season to the Miami Dolphins.
Miami (3-6) is looking to win consecutive games for the first time this season when it welcomes in the Raiders to Hard Rock Stadium. The Dolphins opened their 2024 season with a 20-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion during Miami’s 31-10 loss versus the Buffalo Bills in Week 2.
Tagovailoa wouldn’t return as Miami’s starting quarterback until Week 8 against Arizona.
With kickoff approaching, here’s a look at the Raiders’ season so far and what Las Vegas has on the horizon.
