Raiders Offensive line offseason depth chart and what it could look like come training camp

No position group is more fascinating right now than the Raiders’ offensive line. Particularly the right side of that line. The staff and players have said multiple times that they are in the early stages of trying to slot guys in and are therefore moving them around to see who fits where.

For now, the most common depth chart I witnessed in minicamp looked like this:

LT Kolton Miller Jackson Barton Bamidele Olaseni
LG John Simpson Alex Bars Tyrone Wheatley
C Andre James Dylan Parham Hroniss Grasu
RG Lester Cotton Jermaine Eluemunor Jordan Meredith
RT Alex Leatherwood Brandon Parker Thayer Munford

Keep in mind that Denzelle Good has not been practicing.

Left tackle is the one position that is set for sure. Kolton Miller has locked that spot down.

Left guard and center saw little to no movement in terms of the first team with Simpson and James staying in those spots when they were on the field.

A lot could change before the team takes the field for training camp, and certainly before the start of the season.

For instance, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they sign one of the many free-agent tackles. But should they not sign anyone, there is still the possibility that we see some changes on the line.

Here is a potential depth chart we could see at some point in training camp and possibly the regular season:

LT Kolton Miller Jackson Barton Bamidele Olaseni
LG John Simpson Alex Bars Tyrone Wheatley
C Dylan Parham Andre James Hroniss Grasu
RG Denzelle Good Alex Leatherwood Lester Cotton
RT Jermaine Eluemunor Brandon Parker Thayer Munford

It’s important to remember that Eluemunor started at right tackle in New England holding down the spot for eight games in Josh McDaniels’s offense. So, you figure there is a trust level there. While Eluemunor lined up mostly at right guard in practices, he did pop outside for a time as well.

Good figures to be the first team right guard when he is healthy.

If the team is looking to find spot in the starting lineup for Parham right away, they could also potentially put him in at one of the guard spots initially. Though ultimately they like his potential at center. Whether he becomes the starter during camp will depend on his development as well as what the new staff thinks of James.
