The Las Vegas Raiders added a former first-round pick at tight end to the roster on Monday, signing O.J. Howard to a one-year deal. That was a much-needed move as the room was depleted after the departure of Darren Waller and Foster Moreau still on the free-agent market.
But the Raiders are expected to continue to add more talent to the tight end position this offseason. And their latest target is former Pro Bowl tight end Austin Hooper.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Raiders are set to meet with Hooper on Wednesday.
#Titans FA TE Austin Hooper is expected to visit the #Raiders on Wednesday, source said, as the two-time Pro Bowler could add to a TE room in Las Vegas that now also includes OJ Howard.

Hooper played in all 17 games for the Titans last season, catching 31 passes for 444 yards. He’s bounced around the league some over the past few years, but he is a productive receiving tight end that is only 28 years old. Don’t be surprised if a deal occurs rather quickly as he could help replace Waller in the passing game.
