There are highlight-worthy football plays, and then there are flat out ridiculous football plays.
Raiders cornerback Jack Jones put his stamp on one of the best plays of the entire 2023 NFL season during Las Vegas’s 63–21 rout of the Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
On a second-and-13 from the Chargers’ 22-yard line, quarterback Easton Stick tried to sneak a screen pass to running back Austin Ekeler. Jones stepped in, however, and somehow snatched the football out of thin air with one hand and ran it back to the end zone for six points.
“Oh, baby,” play-by-play announcer Al Michaels said on the Amazon Prime Video broadcast. “Unbelievable."
Raiders owner Mark Davis, watching from his suite, couldn’t believe that Jones made the play that put his team up 62–7.
This Pick-6! Even Mark Davis couldn’t believe it.#LACvsLV on Prime Video

NFL fans joined Davis in his amazement:
It’s kind of a shame that this didn’t happen in a good game bc it’s legitimately one of the coolest plays of the entire season pic.twitter.com/RiAn4sGUsk
